• SFI HEALTH (Klaire Labs) Seleno Met is a necessary cofactor for glutathione peroxidases, which support antioxidant defenses by inactivating hydrogen peroxide, also helps to maintain healthy thyroid hormone production by supporting iodine metabolism.
• This trace mineral is involved in the production of certain prostaglandins that promote healthy blood flow. A study using a combination of selenomethionine and vitamin E found that selenium may support healthy growth and fertility.
• Selenium is also beneficial to the immune system. Selenomethionine is an organic form of selenium found naturally in Brazil nuts and legumes. It is made up of selenium bound to the amino acid methionine.
