- Flax and borage seed oils provide essential fatty acids (EFA), including ALA, LA, and GLA, that further maintain optimal health.
- EFA, especially LA and GLA, promote skin health by supporting epithelial cell function, maintaining the integrity of the epidermal barrier, and helping maintain water and electrolytes in the skin. LA accounts for approximately 12% of the total fatty acid content of the skin.
